- Side-on colony builder.
- Not platforming though.
- Mostly give orders to colonists
- (Would it break things or be fun to directly control them in some cases though?)
- Fluid and gas management!
- How do you get water to go where you want it and not where you don't?
- Ventilation for smoke?
- Maybe even light management if we want to be silly
- Be thoughtful in how you lay everything out.
- Also obviously the colonists have lots of personality and relationships and cutscenes where you make choices about them. :P
- Maybe we do that thing with the character arcs and goals
- How dangerous is it?
- We're not really excited about traditional combat.
- Environmental threats
- bad rain from holes
- mold
- maybe bad creatures
- but you don't just gang up and hit them with swords, maybe there could be a more puzzley way to deal with it.
- Maybe people can die
- But probably not from like, starvation because that always sucks
- Death would be a big sad event
Ultimate goal - change something fundamental about this place so that the surface is livable.
